«Смачно жити» is a home-cooked lunch subscription in Valencia: we cook every morning and deliver hot meals to your office or home Monday to Friday, between 12:00 and 14:30. A nutritionist plans the weekly menu, and the "Home Lunch" package starts at 11 € per meal on a monthly plan, IVA included.
Here is how it works step by step, what you actually get in the container and how the price adds up.
How does home-cooked lunch delivery in Valencia work?
We are a dark kitchen — a kitchen with no dining room that cooks only for delivery. That lets us focus on one thing: cooking fresh, home-style food and getting it to you while it is still hot.
A typical week looks like this:
- Thursday — we publish next week's menu.
- Until Sunday 20:00 — you choose your garnish, adjust your order or pause deliveries.
- Monday–Friday, from ~7:00 — the kitchen cooks that day's lunches, with no batch cooking days in advance.
- 12:00–14:30 — the courier brings your lunch hot to your address.
You don't have to order from scratch every day. The subscription runs on its own and you only step in when you want to change something.
Why this schedule? Publishing the menu on Thursday gives the kitchen time to buy fresh ingredients for the actual number of orders, and the Sunday evening deadline gives you time to plan your week. As a result we waste very little food, never cook "just in case", and you get a dish cooked a few hours ago rather than a few days ago.
What's in a home-cooked lunch?
The core "Home Lunch" package is a hot main dish, a garnish of your choice and a salad. You pick the garnish: mashed potatoes, buckwheat, rice or bulgur.
Dishes you might find on our menu:
- borsch and chicken noodle soup;
- chicken cutlets, pork plov, holubtsi (cabbage rolls);
- baked fish with vegetables, turkey with stewed vegetables;
- liver in sour cream, vinegret salad, syrnyky (cottage cheese pancakes).
You can add soup to any day for +2 €. The menu changes every week, so lunch never gets repetitive and your diet stays balanced.
What's on the label?
Every container has a label with the dish name, calories and macros (kcal, protein, fat, carbs), allergens (icon and text), storage conditions (0–4 °C) and reheating instructions. If a dish can be adapted, the kitchen will cook it without a specific allergen — just note it in your profile.
How much does lunch delivery in Valencia cost?
The price depends on the package and the length of your subscription. All prices include IVA.
- "Home Lunch" (hot main + garnish + salad) — from 11 € per meal on a monthly plan, 12 € on a weekly plan.
- "Forma" — nutritionist-controlled portions, macros on the label, a snack and a consultation — from 17 €.
- "Lunch + Dinner" — lunch plus a light dinner in one delivery — from 19 €.
- Soup — +2 € per day on any package.
- Offices with 3+ people — from 10.50 € per meal.
To put it in perspective: a monthly "Home Lunch" plan at five days a week is roughly 20–22 meals, so around 220–242 € a month at the 11 € rate. You see the exact total in your account before you pay.

Where do you deliver, and how do you manage your subscription?
We deliver to central Valencia districts such as Russafa, Benimaclet, Campanar and the city centre — to offices and homes alike. Just add your address and a preferred slot within 12:00–14:30.
Our zones may grow, so check the current delivery map on the site before you subscribe.
If you are ordering to an office, add the floor, company name or entry code in the comments so the courier can find you quickly and your lunch doesn't go cold at reception. And if the whole team wants to eat together, offices with 3+ people get separate terms — see the offices page.
How do I change, pause or cancel my subscription?
We want the subscription to be convenient, not a commitment that is hard to get out of.
- Changes and pauses — until Sunday 20:00 for the following week. Going on holiday or working from another city? Just pause.
- Cancelling — two clicks in your account, no calls, no explanations needed.
- Payment — by Bizum or bank transfer.
How is a subscription different from restaurant delivery?
Ordering through a delivery app means choosing from dozens of places every day, paying service and delivery fees, and never quite knowing when the food will turn up. A subscription works differently.
- A menu planned for the whole week. The nutritionist rotates meat, fish, poultry and vegetables, so your week isn't just pizza and burgers.
- A predictable price. You know the cost of each lunch in advance, with no surge fees at peak times.
- Transparent ingredients. Calories, macros and allergens are on every label, not "available on request".
- Time saved. No scrolling through an app every day trying to decide what to order.
That said, a subscription isn't for everyone. If you love trying a new cuisine every day or eat lunch irregularly, one-off orders may suit you better. We compare the costs in detail in a separate article.
Who is a lunch subscription for?
Most of our customers work in an office or from home and don't want to think about lunch every day. Others miss familiar home cooking, or simply want to know the calories and ingredients on their plate.
If you are watching your weight or training, have a look at the "Forma" package: the nutritionist sets the portions, and you also get a snack and a consultation. And if you don't feel like cooking in the evening either, "Lunch + Dinner" covers both meals in one delivery.
